Hello and Bonjour! I was born and raised in Northern Ontario and call Sault Ste. Marie home. In trying to determine my career path, I knew I had always been drawn to the health care field but it’s the interpersonal dynamics of midwifery care that drew me to the profession. I graduated with honours from the Midwifery Education Program at Laurentian University.
During my clinical training through the midwifery education program, I had to opportunity to work in Sault Ste. Marie, London and Peterborough. I have gained a wealth of knowledge in a variety of placements and have had the privilege of working with many skilled midwives, obstetricians, nurses, pediatricians, and pelvic floor physiotherapists.
I believe midwifery care plays an important role in the support of women and their families and I love my role in facilitating a truly empowering experience. I strive to provide client-centered care, all the while promoting a safe and intimate birth and postpartum experience. It’s such an honor to be involved in such a transformative time in your life, I look forward to meeting you all!
