I was born in Colombia but have called Canada home for a very long time. Before Midwifery I dedicated myself to raising and homeschooling my five children, most born with the help of midwives!
I completed my BHSc in Midwifery at McMaster University in May 2022. During my training I learned and worked in semi-rural and urban locations in Ontario alongside midwives, obstetricians, LCs, nurses, anesthetist, to name a few. I had the privilege of doing my senior year of training with Gentle Beginnings Midwifery in Embrun. Upon graduating I was thrilled to be offered a position as a midwife in the Cornwall office; Cornwall is where my family has lived for the past four years and we all have grown to cherish it.
As your midwife you can expect me to be a calm, supportive and grounding presence in your pregnancy, birth, and early days of parenthood journey. I look forward to meeting you!
