Bonjour!
My name is Katherine Viau but you can call me Katie. I have been working at Gentle Beginnings since June 2021 and I’ll be the voice you hear when you first call and the face you’ll see behind the desk at our Cornwall location!
I have a Bachelors Degree in Criminology with a concentration in Sociology and a minor in Psychology from Carleton University. I didn’t end up doing anything with my degree, but it was a stepping stone to getting where I am today, which is here, and I love that!
My whole personality revolves around being a mama to the coolest little girl, reading everything and anything and all things Harry Potter. For those in the know, once you meet me, you’ll agree that I could not be more of a Hufflepuff and I’m proud of that!
In July of 2022, my husband and I welcomed our first baby with the help of the Cornwall midwife team. This was my first real experience with midwifery care and now I know firsthand how amazing this team is and how powerful and informed they make you feel.
I look forward to being a part of this incredible journey and getting to meet all the families!
